It’s been a busy year for FantasyDraft so far in 2017. First they bailed out many FantasyAces players; now FantasyDraft has joined the likes of FanDuel and DraftKings with the release of a brand new app for iOS. According to an email received on Wednesday announcing the news, a FantasyDraft Android app is also not too far off.

The FantasyDraft iOS app can be downloaded in the App Store today. In the immediate days after the app, it has been received 2 stars by two users who claim connectivity issues. Despite some reported issues, the app worked has worked well in our tests. Player reaction in other circles also appears to be positive.

How to Download the FantasyDraft iOS App

You can download the FantasyDraft iOS app from FantasyDraft.com or by searching for FantasyDraft in the iOS App Store. Both new and existing users can download the app, with new users able to create an account directly from the app.

Make sure you allow FantasyDraft to access your location to be able to use the app (this is required to verify that you are playing from an allowed state).

A look at the FantasyDraft iOS App

Once you have download the app, signed in and have verified your location, you will be able to do most of the functions you can by using the web mobile or desktop browser.

When signed in, you’ll get a simple lobby hub which will allow you to select the sport and slate you wish to view. After selecting a slate, you will be able to see all contests for that slate. Click the tab of the contest type you wish to play, filter contests (by fee, contest size, contest type etc) and then sort your contests to further narrow down your results. In addition to the lobby, there are also tabs available for your upcoming, live and completed contests (which are signified at the bottom of the screen by how many have contests you have entered. A lineups tab will also allow you to edit your various lineups.

The account page — which you can access by clicking your account balance — you will be able to deposit, withdraw, view transactions and contact support, among other items.

The FantasyDraft app should provide a faster and be more responsive experience versus the mobile web mobile version. Of course, try out both and see what you like best. Any bugs that are experienced will likely be ironed out over the coming days and weeks.
